Kessinger/Hunter provides a range of development services. We divide the services into three broad categories:

1. Fee Development/Project Management

Our clients may have a need to build a new building. This could be a corporate headquarters, a medical office building, a warehouse, or any other structure needed. Our clients do not have experience in development or project management and hire us to manage the process leading to a new building.

2. Government Services Administration (GSA)/Government Development

In this work we respond to government requests for proposals to deliver a new building for an agency.

3. Development for our own Accounts

This is just what it implies. Development of new structures in which members of the firm and, often, outside investors build a building with a long-term lease in place. While this can be any type of building, the firm’s history shows focus primarily on industrial warehouses. Whatever the category, each project typically requires some or all of the following skill sets:

  • Strategic planning
  • Site acquisition
  • Construction management
  • Turn-key ownership process
  • Possible sale-leaseback programs
  • Project financing
  • Project accounting
